Author Guidelines
GAMACCA: Journal of Education and Cultural Studies is an interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed journal committed to publishing high-quality research on the relationships between media, culture, and social dynamics. To ensure that your manuscript aligns with the journal’s standards, please follow the guidelines outlined below.
1. Manuscript Submission

Language: All manuscripts must be submitted in English. Submissions in other languages will not be considered.

Format: Manuscripts must be formatted in Microsoft Word (.doc, .docx), using the following formatting requirements:

Font: Times New Roman, size 12 pt.

Line Spacing: 1.5 lines.
-
Margins: 1 inch (2.54 cm) on all sides.

Page Numbers: Include page numbers in the footer.
-
References: The reference list should be in the APA (American Psychological Association) style.

Submission Process: All manuscripts must be submitted through the journal’s online submission system. To submit your manuscript, please visit [journal submission page URL].

Word Limit: Articles should be between 3,000 to 7,000 words (including references, tables, and figures). Shorter or longer manuscripts may be considered if they are highly relevant.
2. Manuscript Structure
All submitted manuscripts should follow the structure outlined below:

Title: The title should be concise, clear, and descriptive, reflecting the content of the manuscript. It should not exceed 15 words.

Abstract: The manuscript must include an abstract (150-250 words) that summarizes the key points of the research, including the purpose, methodology, findings, and conclusions.

Keywords: Authors must provide 3-5 keywords that best describe the manuscript's topic.

Main Body: The main body of the manuscript should be divided into the following sections:

Introduction: Introduce the research problem, objectives, and the relevance of the study.

Literature Review: Provide an overview of existing research in the field, highlighting key studies and gaps that your research addresses.

Methodology: Describe the research design, methods, and data collection techniques used in the study.

Results and Discussion: Present the findings of your research and discuss their implications, limitations, and comparison with other studies.

Conclusion: Summarize the main findings, their implications, and potential avenues for future research.

Acknowledgments: Include a section for acknowledgments of funding sources, institutional support, or any other contributions that supported the research.

References: The reference list must include all sources cited in the manuscript, formatted according to the APA 7th Edition style. Ensure all references are accurate and complete.

Figures and Tables:

Figures and tables should be included in the manuscript, placed where they are referenced in the text.

They should have clear, descriptive titles and should be numbered consecutively (e.g., Table 1, Figure 1).

Figure quality: Ensure all figures are high-resolution (at least 300 dpi) and legible.

3. Ethical Considerations

Originality: The manuscript should be entirely original, and not previously published or under consideration elsewhere. The authors must ensure proper citation of others' work.

Plagiarism: All submitted manuscripts will be screened for plagiarism using Turnitin. Manuscripts with high similarity to other works will be rejected. It is the author’s responsibility to ensure proper attribution of all sources.

Ethics Approval: Research involving human subjects or animals must include a statement of ethics approval from the relevant ethics committee/institution.

Conflicts of Interest: Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest related to the research, including financial support, affiliations, or personal interests that could influence the objectivity of the study.
4. Peer Review Process

Double-Blind Review: All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process. This means that both authors and reviewers are anonymous to each other.

Review Time: The review process typically takes 4-6 weeks.

Decision: After review, the manuscript will be assigned one of the following decisions:

Accepted: Manuscript is accepted for publication.

Minor Revisions: Manuscript requires small changes.

Major Revisions: Manuscript requires substantial revisions.

Rejected: Manuscript does not meet the journal’s standards.

5. Author’s Responsibilities

Accuracy of Content: Authors are responsible for the accuracy of the content, data, and references within their manuscript. Any errors or discrepancies should be promptly addressed and corrected.

Authorship: Only those who have made significant contributions to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the research should be listed as authors. All authors must have seen and approved the final version of the manuscript and agree to its submission for publication.

Acknowledgment of Sources: Authors must properly acknowledge all sources of information and ideas that are not their own. This includes the correct citation of prior work that has informed the research.
6. Submission and Publication Fees

Submission Fee: There is no submission fee for manuscripts.

Publication Fee: Upon acceptance, authors may be required to pay a publication fee to cover the costs of peer review, editing, and publication. Details of the publication fee will be provided upon acceptance.
7. Copyright and Licensing

Creative Commons Licence: All articles published in GAMACCA: Journal of Education and Cultural Studies are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike (CC BY-SA) license. This allows others to share and adapt the work, provided appropriate credit is given to the author and any changes are distributed under the same license.
