Author Guidelines

Jurnal Manajementa (Jumat) is a peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research in the fields of business management, financial management, strategic management, and human resource management. To ensure consistency, academic quality, and ethical integrity, authors are required to follow the guidelines outlined below before submitting their manuscripts.

1. Manuscript Submission

Language
All manuscripts must be written in English. Manuscripts submitted in other languages will not be considered for review.

File Format
Manuscripts must be prepared using Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) with the following formatting requirements:

  • Font: Times New Roman, 12-point

  • Line spacing: 1.5

  • Margins: 1 inch (2.54 cm) on all sides

  • Page numbers: Placed in the footer

  • Reference style: APA (7th Edition)

Word Limit
Manuscripts should be between 3,000 and 7,000 words, including references, tables, and figures. Manuscripts outside this range may be considered if they demonstrate strong relevance and contribution.

Submission Process
All manuscripts must be submitted through the journal’s online submission system via the official JUMAT website.

2. Manuscript Structure

Submitted manuscripts should be organised in the following order:

Title
The title should be concise, clear, and descriptive, reflecting the core content of the manuscript. The title should not exceed 15 words.

Abstract
Each manuscript must include an abstract of 150–250 words, summarising the research objectives, methodology, key findings, and conclusions.

Keywords
Authors should provide 3–5 keywords that accurately represent the main themes of the manuscript.

Main Text
The main body of the manuscript should consist of the following sections:

  • Introduction: Presents the research background, problem statement, objectives, and significance of the study.

  • Literature Review: Reviews relevant theories and previous studies, identifying research gaps addressed by the manuscript.

  • Methodology: Describes the research design, data sources, data collection methods, and analytical techniques.

  • Results and Discussion: Presents research findings and discusses their implications, limitations, and relevance in relation to existing studies.

  • Conclusion: Summarises the main findings, contributions, and possible directions for future research.

Acknowledgements
This section is optional and may include funding sources, institutional support, or other contributions.

References
All cited sources must be listed in the reference section and formatted consistently according to APA 7th Edition standards.

Tables and Figures

  • Tables and figures should be embedded in the text near their first citation.

  • Each table and figure must have a clear title and be numbered consecutively.

  • Figures must be of high quality with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi.

3. Ethical Considerations

Originality
Manuscripts must be original and must not be published or under review elsewhere. Proper citation of all sources is mandatory.

Plagiarism
All submissions will be screened using plagiarism detection software. Manuscripts with excessive similarity will be rejected.

Ethical Approval
Research involving human participants or animals must include a statement confirming ethical approval from a recognised ethics committee or institution.

Conflict of Interest
Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could influence the research or its interpretation.

4. Peer Review Process

Review Model
Jurnal Manajementa (Jumat) applies a double-blind peer review process, in which both authors and reviewers remain anonymous.

Review Duration
The review process generally takes 4–6 weeks, depending on reviewer availability and the revision process.

Editorial Decision
Based on reviewers’ recommendations, manuscripts will be classified as:

  • Accepted

  • Accepted with Minor Revisions

  • Accepted with Major Revisions

  • Rejected

5. Authors’ Responsibilities

Authors are responsible for the accuracy, originality, and integrity of the manuscript content. All listed authors must have made substantial contributions to the research and must approve the final version prior to submission. Authors are also responsible for properly acknowledging all sources and contributions.

6. Submission and Publication Fees

Submission Fee
There is no submission fee for manuscript submission.

Publication Fee
If the manuscript is accepted, authors may be required to pay a publication fee to support editorial processing and publication. Detailed information will be provided upon acceptance.

7. Copyright and Licensing

All articles published in Jurnal Manajementa (Jumat) are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike (CC BY-SA) 4.0 International License, allowing others to share and adapt the work with proper attribution and under the same licence terms.
